California: Powerhouse

I could eat the California Powerhouse everyday. Avocado. Sprouts. Tomatoes. Cucumbers. Cheese. Chive mayo spread. Toasted multigrain bread. West Coast goodness.

I’ve never had much of a tie to California until my cousins, Spencer and Eli, moved there a few years ago. This past October was the first time I was able to visit and it was great to see the life they have established for themselves. The beach is in their backyard and a mountain hike is within sight – how can you really go wrong?

Growing up our families got together on Friday nights for Chinese food, maybe down the road we will get together for powerhouse sandwiches.
